Clark Appointed as Board Member

The USADSF Executive Board has appointed Dr. Becky Clark, a certified consultant of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and licensed clinical social worker/psychotherapist as its first Board Member-at-Large. Dr. Clark has a rich and long history as a multi-sport standout athlete including a four-sport varsity letter winner in high school, a basketball player for Pat Summitt’s Lady Vols at the University of Tennessee, a three-time Deaflympian with one gold and two silver medals in volleyball, and a participant at the 1991 U.S. Olympic Festival (volleyball). She was also a torchbearer for the 2002 Winter Olympics Torch Relay Team. Dr. Clark is an internationally published author, researcher, freelance writer and public speaker.  She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the AASP. She serves on the Diversity Committee and Women in Sports & Disability Special Interest Groups of AASP. Dr. Clark also serves as a member of the ING New York City Marathon Psyching Team, the Advisory Council for Healing with Basketball Clinic and the Strategic Planning Committee of the USA Deaf Sports Federation. Dr. Clark starts her Board duties immediately.
