Deaf Swimmer Makes the 2012 U.S. Paralympic Team

June 20, 2012 Rebecca Meyers, decorated World Deaf Swimming Champion and 2011 USADSF Female Athlete of the Year, has been nominated to compete in the 2012 Paralympics.  Meyers, who meets the S13 disability classification, joins a team of 34 (19 Paralympians) to represent the United States.  The 2012 Paralympic Games in London will occur August 29 – September 9. The United States Deaf Swimming organization wishes Meyers and the 2012 Paralympic team the best!
