USA Deaf Sports Federation (USADSF) acknowledges that on July 30, 2017, International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) President Valery Rukhledev revealed that the 2021 Deaflympics may be held in either Los Angeles or Dubai as the 23rd Deaflympics concluded in Samsun, Turkey. Speaking following an evaluation meeting, Mr. Rukhledev said his "personal choice" would be to take the Deaflympics to Dubai. USADSF has no knowledge of the Los Angeles bid nor any details.
