Anti-Doping Policy
USADSF practices Anti-Doping, and each participant is required to adhere to and uphold Anti-Doping practices.
The World Anti-Doping Agency's Code is the core document that provides the framework for harmonization of anti-doping policies, rules and regulations within sports and among public authorization around the globe, including in ICSD.
As an athlete, you may have an illness or medical condition that requires a particular medication. If this medication contains a substance or requires an administration method that is on the List of Prohibited Substances and Methods (List), you may apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE). A TUE allows you to use the medication or method as it will not afford you a competitive advantage, but rather ensure you can compete in a proper state of health.
Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE)
A Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) is an official medical document giving an athlete permission to take a medication that is ordinarily prohibited for the treatment of a legitimate condition. It is only valid for a given period of time.

Please note that any athlete prescribed any prohibited substance should compete in the relative sport only on the condition of being granted a TUE. Any negligence to this condition may lead to an anti-doping rule violation with the consequent sanctions as to ICSD Anti-Doping Rules.

International-level athletes with granted TUE and competing in a sporting event outside their native country are required to get qualitative consultancy with their physician/sport manager concerning the medication prescribed legality in other countries. Possession of a narcotic-containing medication when entering a country can be recognised as drug trafficking with the legal prosecution imposed and/or penalties.
