Hall of Fame & Awards
USADSF Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame award is to honor those who have displayed exceptional performance or service to the deaf in the world of sports as athletes, leaders, or officials. Athletes must be citizens of the United States and are nominated based on their outstanding performances, integrity, sportsmanship, and character. Nominees may be considered for one or more categories below:
Athletes
Playing ability, sportsmanship, character and contributions to his or her team or teams and to deaf sports in general. In order to be eligible, athletes shall have been retired from competition for at least five years. Athletes still active in such sports for recreational purposes shall not be considered active for the purpose of eligibility.

Leaders
Coaching, managerial or executive ability, or ability in another significant off-field role, sportsmanship, character and contributions to his or her organization or organizations and to deaf sports in general. Leaders shall have contributed at least ten years of service to sports. Starting in 2020, Officials, Sports Writers, and Leaders have been combined into the Leaders category.

Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis, and elections are held in even-numbered years. Electors consist of the Executive Board and four members of the Hall of Fame. Nominees must receive more than 75% of the votes from the electors to be enshrined into the USADSF Hall of Fame. To submit a nomination, please send a completed nomination form and e-mail info@usdeafsports.org with "Hall of Fame Nomination" in the subject line.

Awards
The Art Kruger Leadership Award is awarded to the deserving individual who demonstrates leadership and continuous participation in the Federation over an extended period of time.

Athlete of the Year
Awarded to the most outstanding Deaf male and female American athlete of each year.
​
Donalda K. Ammons Advocacy Award
The Donalda K. Ammons Advocacy Award recognizes deserving individuals or groups who make significant contributions toward the empowerment and advancement of Deaf girls and women in sports.

Dr. Glenn Anderson Diversity and Equity Fund
To provide financial support to Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) athletes who participate in USADSF sports or BIPOC non-athletes for development and training purposes within USADSF.
​
The Jerald M. Jordan Award, which is, during a Deaflympic year, for the deserving American athlete who has accomplished outstanding Deaflympics achievement, and, during a non-Deaflympic year, for the deserving and outstanding individual who demonstrated leadership and continuous participation towards the goals of the Deaflympics.
​
The President’s Award is for the deserving individual who demonstrates outstanding performances and services to the Federation.
​
The USADSF Board Community Award is awarded to the deserving individual, corporation or organization that contributes significantly towards the enhancement of the goals of the United States of America Deaf Sports Federation.
