Photo Credit: Ralph Fernandez The dVELO met at a coffee parlor in Washington, DC.The dVELO (Washington DC Metro) has promoted many bike rides since its founding and recruited a large number of members for the USDCA.  dVELO hosts a prestigious bike ride at the Five Boro Bike Tour in New York every year. Last May, the Gallaudet University president rode his bike with students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the deaf community.  A total of 51 participants (45 adults and 6 children) rode their bikes through Washington, DC.  The purpose of the ride was to raise funds for the Laurent Clerc Cultural Fund of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA).  Waving hands to the dVELO for their efforts!
