SATORALJAUJHELY, HUNGARY – Three hours from the bustling twin cities of Buda and Pest, the hilly town of Sátoraljaújhely played host to the 2024 World Deaf Mountain Bike Championships. Due to the timing of the event during the shoulder season (the event took place between November 2-10) and to late withdrawals, the United States sent a small delegation of two athletes to the World Deaf Mountain Bike Championships: Jayson Wallace and Skyler Withrow.
Although Wallace and Withrow did not reach the podium, the event is sure to give the two athletes, who are both under the age of 20, with invaluable experience as they continue to grow their promising competitive careers.
