Shooting

Shooting is an individual sport where the level of proficiency is critical; accuracy and speed are the only things that matter. Shooters use different types of firearms to compete in different categories including pistol and rifle.

US shooters made their first appearance in the Deaflympics at the 1965 Summer Games. USA Deaf Shooting seeks to promote the sport of shooting and advance the level of competition among deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

USA Deaf Sports Federation currently oversees the USA Deaf National Shooting Team. To become involved, please reach out to info@usdeafsports.org.
